Enhancing a Power BI and Geo-mapping dashboard for a government agency
JAN - APR 2021
Overview
Our client, a government agency, faced challenges assessing the effectiveness of resource allocation and spending across their offices. The complexity of their data streams made the allocation process overly complicated and time-consuming. Additionally, each government office had unique requirements for the tool, further adding to the product's complexity.
the Opportunity
We developed a dashboard tool that would empower stakeholders in each agency office to make data-driven decisions about their allocation and spending. Recognizing the inefficiencies and time-consuming nature of manually extracting data from their current system, we aimed to create a tool that would streamline and simplify the allocation process.
my role
In this role, I served as a UX/UI Designer on a small product team. I joined the project towards the end of the research phase, contributing to the process with personas and journey mapping. As the project advanced, I was responsible for wire-framing, information architecture, prototyping, and visual design.
This project is under a NDA.
